Dr. Kearney fell in love with Vermont during her undergraduate education at the University of Vermont, while obtaining her degree in biology with a minor in chemistry.  She was a top graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon and was selected for Mountain View’s highly competitive post-graduate residency program. She has become such a wonderful part of our team that we’re excited to announce her acceptance as a full-time staff physician at our clinic.  

Dr. Kearney loves working in a primary care setting because it allows her to see patients of all ages.  She has a passion for pediatric medicine and a way with patients that puts them right at ease.  Her approach includes educating children about their health, about nutrition, and empowering them to make healthy choices from the start.  She is happy to serve as your child’s primary care provider for well child visits, acute visits, or to offer adjunctive care for special concerns.  Additionally, Dr. Kearney can provide parents with guidance on and administration of vaccines which is respectful, evidence-based and accounts for an individual patient’s and family’s needs.  She also has experience working with geriatric patients in a long-term nursing facility, which enhanced her ability to connect with this population and cultivated an interest in geriatric care. 

Dr. Kearney believes in the body’s innate ability to heal itself and that we can enhance this ability through diet, exercise and lifestyle modifications.  She is most drawn to treating conditions with nutrition and botanical medicines. 

Dr. Kearney is thrilled to be back in the Burlington area, where she first discovered natural medicine. When she is not at work, she is seeing live music or exploring the beautiful state of Vermont through hiking and camping with her partner Chris and their dog Primo.
